Before beginning installation procedure ...
• Always wear eye protection.
• Unplug the electrical cord from the power source.

STEP 1. Remove the three (3) screws from the pad flap retainer, and set aside.



STEP 2.  Remove the pads from the unit by removing the center pad first.

STEP 3.  Locate the electrical control box located in the upper left side of the housing. Remove the cover plate screws, and remove the cover plate.


STEP 4.  Gently pull wiring harness from the electrical control box for easy access to the “quick connect” wiring connectors.

STEP 5.  Identify the wiring harness from the pump, and disconnect from the pump switch wiring harness.



STEP 6.  Set the water pump shut off switch on the lowest level in the bottom of the unit housing with the wide side of the flat metal base sitting level on the bottom.



STEP 7.  Re-connect the water pump wiring harness and switch harness connectors into the two connectors on the shut off switch wiring harness. They will install only one way with the new shut off switch harness located between the existing pump harness and switch harness.

STEP 8.  The two wires (the original pump harness wire and the new shut off switch
harness wire) will now occupy the access hole in the box. Install the new grommet provided on the two wires. Re-install the pump wiring in the upper access hole and the power supply cord in the lower.



STEP 9.  Correct installation of wiring and grommets with the control box cover reinstalled is shown.

STEP 10.  When wiring installation is completed, replace the pads by installing far right and far left pads first, then working toward the center, installing the center pad last. Replace the pad flap with three attaching screws to complete the pump shut-off switch installation.
